What do you do for Pitt Tonight?

Up until now, I’ve been a cameraman for the all the episodes. Recently became an associate producer and will be working with the other amazing and talented producers to keep making the show great (so wish me luck!).

Who’s your favorite late night personality? Why?

I think John Oliver gets the most laughs out of me by far. His I-once-was-a-foreigner-but-now-I’m-integrated-enough-within-the-culture-to-criticize-it-from-a-sorta-outsider’s-perspective is so relatable to me.

What is the funniest thing you have seen on Pitt’s campus?

During one of my first night outs at Pitt, I was waiting for the 10a by the cathedral. While waiting, I saw this visibly intoxicated girl getting tapped by this car. She then fell over and her stuff scattered everywhere. Now, before you say, “Anh, this isn’t funny whatsoever,” this girl proceeded to pop back up, gathered all her belongings, and ran away while yelling ‘I’m sorryyy!’ She was too drunk to know that it wasn’t her fault that she got hit. And that’s when I knew that I picked quite the college.

What are your hopes for Pitt Tonight?

Coming from production, I hope that we continue to improve in all aspects of videography so that we can give the viewers that didn’t get the live show experience a very unique experience of the show in their own right.

Market or Perch?

Perch during the special occasions (less crowded) and Market all the other times.

Antoon’s or Sorrento’s?

Antoon’s. Cardboard pizza over soupy pizza any day!

Welcome to the official Pitt Tonight blog. While your waiting for our next show, keep up with our staff members in their weekly highlights, and see life in South O through the eyes of Pitt Tonight.
