Year/Major: Junior. Communications Major with a focus in Media Production and Acting

Where are you from?

Montville, New Jersey

What do you do for Pitt Tonight?

I’m a Staff Writer, Actor and Production Liaison at Pitt Tonight. Basically a jack of all trades. My big focus is on our pre-filmed content. I work with the other liaisons, writers and production department to make sure our sketches are developed while maintaining the comedic integrity intended by the writers. Sometimes I get to act in these, which is always a bunch of fun. I also work the teleprompter during our live tapings of the show, to make sure our host, Jesse, can perform his monologues and desk pieces smoothly.

Who is your favorite late night personality? Why?

Do I have to pick a favorite? My top three are Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert and Eric Andre. Conan is a raunchy, late night phoenix from the ashes. Colbert is an intellectually satirical genius. Andre is psychotic and is not afraid to make everyone and himself super uncomfortable.

What is the funniest thing you’ve seen on Pitt’s Campus?

As an RA, I see some pretty crazy s***. One night I walked into the bathroom. I see what looks like Trix Yogurt… Everywhere. A chair was sitting in front of the shower. I open the curtain to the changing area. Some dude was standing in a shower. Asleep while standing. Curtain open. Fully clothed. Water at full pressure. I was in tears.

Still zero explanation for the yogurt or the chair.

What are your hopes for Pitt Tonight?

I’d like to see Pitt Tonight maintain a steady rise in popularity and quality. I’d like to see it encourage a media program to develop at Pitt. I think we’ve proved that this is a great school for such a thing. I want this show to thrive!

Market or Perch?

Market for sure. Except on Thanksgiving. Perch Thanksgiving is dope.

Sorrento’s or Antoons’s?

Beta Bites.
